Welcome to the website of the Alberta Mennega Foundation

The Alberta Mennega Foundation provides grants to young plant systematists and plante ecologists,
studying or working at a Dutch University or equivalent Dutch institution.

Applications must be in the field of botanical research (anatomy, systematics/taxonomy, ecology).

Activities should preferably be in relation to the tropics, or carried out in collaboration with
Naturalis Biodiversity Center.
